Funeral Arrangements

One of the most difficult things to deal with is the death of someone that we love and cherish. Here at Gesu, we seek to be a place of comfort and healing for those in the midst of grief.

Upon the news of a death, a family is encouraged to first contact their preferred funeral home. The funeral home will then contact our parish office, at which point we will work with them for scheduling funeral services. If a family will not be working through a funeral home and wishes for a Memorial Mass or something else, you may contact the parish office directly.

Click here to find our parish Funeral Planning Guide as well as documents that contain all of the different options for funeral readings. These documents will be helpful for pre-planning funeral rites and in preparation to meet with a parish priest or staff person in order to have a smooth meeting and to quickly plan out the services for your loved one.

FOR FUNERAL HOMES

Please contact the parish before setting times for any services. Please also refer to Catholic burial practices in the link below as a primary guide when helping families of the deceased make arrangements.
