Holy Week and Easter Services Schedule

As we approach the most solemn celebrations of the year, please see below for the Holy Week and Easter Services Schedule for Gesu and for our sister parish, St. Pius X:

Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion

Saturday, March 23 - 4:00pm at Gesu

Sunday, March 24 - 8:00am at St. Pius X

Sunday, March 24 - 10:00am at Gesu

Sunday, March 24 - 11:30am at St. Pius X

Tuesday, March 26 - Holy Week Confessions

There will be individual Confession available from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at both Gesu and St. Pius X Churches.

If there is a line at 7:00, Confessions will continue until all are heard.

Holy Thursday - March 28

**Please be aware there will not be the normal 5:00pm Confessions and 5:30pm Mass at St. Pius**

7:00pm - Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at Gesu

Good Friday - March 29

**Please be aware there will not be the normal Friday 7:00am Morning Mass at Gesu**

12:00pm - Stations of the Cross at Gesu

3:00pm - The Liturgy of the Passion (main service) at Gesu

7:00pm - The Seven Last Words Service at St. Pius X

These services are meant to offer different service options at different times for this holy day.

Please be advised one need not attend all three.

Holy Saturday - March 30

12:00pm - Blessing of Easter Food at Gesu

**No normal 4:00pm Mass at Gesu**

8:30pm - Solemn Vigil of the Lord's Resurrection (Easter Vigil) at St. Pius X

Please be aware that the Easter Vigil is a long Mass that usually lasts at least 2 hours. It is when we will welcome in new members to our Church who have been in the RCIA program.

This does count as an Easter Mass, so one does not need to attend another Mass on Sunday.

Easter Sunday - March 31

8:00am - Easter Mass at St. Pius X

10:00am - Easter Mass at Gesu

11:30am - Easter Mass at St. Pius X
