Underground Day Away at Camp de Sales
Gesu's faith formation programs help people of all ages grow closer to the Lord through educational and service activities.  Explore our programs and connect with the contact person for the program in which you are interested.  If you do not see a program that you think would benefit Gesu's faith formation program, please contact the parish office to talk about how the Lord may be calling you to get involved and help coordinate something new at Gesu.

Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Children are invited during the Sunday 9:00 a.m. to join together under the direction of adult leaders to listen and learn more about the Sunday scripture readings.  Children attend CLOW during the time of the scripture readings at Mass and return shortly after the priest's homily is finished.  Children ages 4 and up are welcome.  Contact:  Barb Pedigo

Religious Education (CCD - Grade School)

Gesu Underground (High School)
Two high school seniors founded Gesu Underground in 2007 so that high school students belonging to Gesu parish would have an outlet for gathering together for spiritual, social, educational and service opportunities.  All students in high school are welcome.  Gesu Underground meets each Sunday at 7:30 p.m.  Contact 2009-2010: Chris Gelardi (SFS '11) and Becca Gerken (NDA '11)

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
RCIA at Gesu helps women and men deepen their faith through education, through integration into a parish community, and through rituals that celebrate stages of growth both in one’s faith and in one’s membership in the Catholic Church.  RCIA for some formally concludes with Baptism, Confirmation and first Eucharist the night before Easter Sunday.

For others who are already baptized it culminates in making a statement that they are one with the Catholic Church in belief and at heart, that is to say, that they feel at home in the Catholic Church and see the Catholic Church as a way for them to further growth in a relationship with the Lord (called a Profession of Faith).  Contact:  Margaret McCready

Young Adults (Post-College)
The young adult group at Gesu seeks to bring together parishioners and friends ages 24-40 for fellowship and conversation about prayer, spirituality and life in the Church.  Contact: Jim & Liz Schurrer
